1. Do I need to be signed up for a HYROX race to join?
Nope! This training is for anyone who wants the strength, endurance, and conditioning HYROX is known for. Whether you’re racing in December or just curious about hybrid fitness, you’ll benefit from the program.
2. I’m new to HYROX (or fitness) — is this right for me?
Yes. Sessions are coached, not just supervised. That means we meet you where you’re at—modifying when needed, and pushing you when you’re ready.
3. What if I already train regularly — will I be challenged?
Absolutely. HYROX is designed to test both strength and endurance, and our coaches provide strategies and progressions that push even experienced athletes toward new personal bests.
4. How many people are in each training squad?
Our classes are not too small and not too big, ensuring you get attention, hands-on coaching, and the energy and accountability of a team.
5. What does the program include?
Our memberships offerings are tailored to your unique needs but all include training through all 8 HYROX stations with HYROX-specific equipment, coaching, and race-day strategies.
6. What do I need to bring?
Just your regular training gear (indoor shoes, water bottle, towel). We provide all the HYROX-specific equipment.
7. What if I can only train in the morning or evening?
We run complete fitness classes from 6am – 830pm! You’ll have plenty of options to train!
8. Where does the training take place?
At Rocky Point Fitness in Coquitlam, equipped with HYROX-specific gear so you get the real race-day feel.
9. What’s the investment?
We tailor each onboarding experience to your goals and preferences. Our most popular option is our unlimited training membership, starting at $59.25/week.

WHAT IS HYROX ANYWAY?
The HYROX race format offers consistency worldwide, with global leaderboards and a cumulative World Championships at each season’s end. However, inside the gym, the training possibilities are boundless, offering various time domains and movements to continuously challenge participants.
HYROX combines running with functional workout stations, where participants run 1km and then tackle a functional workout station, repeating the sequence eight times. These races are held indoors in expansive exhibition halls, creating an immersive and thrilling experience where spectators can support participants from start to finish.
This standardized race format ensures a level playing field for global competition, welcoming both professional athletes and everyday fitness enthusiasts eager to push their limits. HYROX stands as a sport for everyone, accommodating individuals of all skill levels and backgrounds.
