Carol Almeida is an experienced and dedicated fitness professional who has been working in the fitness industry for over 20 years. Originally from Brazil, Carol now coaches at Rocky Point Fitness and Health in Canada. She holds a Master’s in Sport Training, a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (equivalent to Kinesiology in Brazil), and has extensive experience working with all types of individuals. She’s logged thousands of hours of coaching and additionally, she is a certified ACE Fitness Personal Trainer, a certified Level 2 CrossFit Trainer, with Emergency First Aid and CPR certification.

Carol’s journey began with a love for lifting heavy weights, which led her to explore biomechanics and eventually earn a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. After completing a post secondary specialization in Sports Training, Carol launched her career as a personal trainer in 2006. In 2016, she discovered her second passion—CrossFit. Since then, Carol has worked with a diverse range of clients, from beginners to those suffering in pain, to seasoned athletes, helping them achieve impressive results in weight loss, strength training, and optimized health and performance.
