Hi everyone! I really hope you are finding the time to catch a deep breath, find the chance to relax and let go of the stress.
Having dinner with my 21-year old daughter and she was barely eating. Clearly stressed. When I asked her what was on her mind she used the term “global anxiety”. Smart kid. So I asked her to be more specific. What exactly was she worried about. Now the answer: worried about her boyfriend who is alone right now. Fair enough. Now we can talk about how we can work to ease those worries.
This situation is gnawing at everyone. We’re all experiencing this global anxiety. But what is really the thing you are worried about? Something that you can actually make a change on? It’s easy to get caught up with doomsday scenarios. It’s also really easy to get caught in your head with those negative feelings and emotions. Talk to someone. Get it out of your head.
